Cathedral Highschool Grade 8 Family Information Night

Dear Parents and Guardians,
As the Principal of Cathedral High School, I am delighted to invite you to our Grade 8 Family Information Night on November 12th, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., in our Forum. This event serves as a wonderful opportunity for you to learn about the enriching experiences that await your child as they transition into high school. Prior to the presentation, there will be optional tours of the school lead by our Gael Guides. These tours will only be available from 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. and will depart from our forum.
Cathedral High School boasts a rich history of 113 years in Catholic education, firmly rooted in our commitment to nurturing the whole person (intellectually, spiritually, and socially). With a beautifully diverse community of over 1,700 students, from 81 different countries and 42 different first languages, our students are unified as one family.
At Cathedral, we believe that we are more than just a school; we are a family, and our warm environment makes Cathedral High School truly feel like home.
During our Grade 8 Family Information Night, we will share important information about our Grade 9 program, including academic options and extracurricular activities. Our dedicated administrative team, including our Vice-Principals, Department Heads, and Teachers will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. We understand that choosing the right high school is a significant decision, and we are here to support you every step of the way.

We deeply value the partnership we share with you, our parents and guardians, in nurturing a supportive and inclusive school community. Your involvement is essential to the success of our students, and we encourage you to consider joining our Catholic School Council. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute your ideas and help shape the future of Cathedral High School.
As we gather on Parent Night, I hope you will feel the spirit of our school and the warmth of our community. Together, we can ensure that our students grow not only as learners but also as compassionate individuals who reflect the light of Christ in the world. Your presence and participation make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and enrich our school community.
Thank you for considering Cathedral High School as the next step in your child’s education. Please follow us on Instagram @chstvnews to catch a glimpse of life at Cathedral. We look forward to meeting you and embarking on this exciting journey together as one family
